With a length of 16,405 feet the runway of Ulyanovsk Vostochny Airport is the second longest public use runway in the world. And its also the widest, with a total width of about 344 feet.                                                            


Though theoretically the runways at Edwards Air Force, United States are miles long (39,060 ft, 11,905 m) in any given direction but are dry lakebeds with no conventional construction done. Its also a military installation like Ramenskoye Airport & the runway is not generally made available for use by civilian aircrafts.
